Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Move over Zelda, Animals are Crossing
First of all, it's not a Game Boy Color game. Second of all, now for my reviews. Ahem...Animal Crossing is a great game. You can do so many things. It is great for all ages. Everyone will have fun. You can do...These things: Name your character and town, ride a train to town to town, visit your friend's town by using the Memory Card, mail letters, change clothes, get a job, play original NES games, custumize your house, visit a mysterious island by using the GBA-GC connector, visit people's houses, if it's your birthday-you'll receive a gift and letters! This isn't a game. I'm not sure what to call it. I guess a mini-virtual life. If you reserve it, trust me:You will love it. It is not a game that contains stages, levels or boss-fights, just doing your daily routines. It may not sound fun, but if you look in pictures in Mags (Nintendo Power recommeded) you'll see how fun it really is.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Who knew chores could be so much fun
Move to a new town. Make friends with the neighbors. Send letters. Catch bugs. Go fishing. Do mundane tasks and sell items to help pay off your house debts. Decorate your quarters. Visit and trade with other towns. Design patterns for clothes and wallpaper. From what I had heard and seen of Animal Crossing, it looked awfully boring. I mean, who could enjoy a game where you spend all day running errands for the villagers? But as soon as I started my own game -- my own life -- I understood why so many people get lost in Animal Crossing. Like Harvest Moon before, it's simple, yet rewarding in its own, subtle, realistic ways. While I was disappointed for several reasons as what Animal Crossing doesn't offer, there becomes enough to do already, all based around a real-time clock. That's right! The sun doesn't go down until your REAL sun does. Winter won't come until it's really snowing outside. Certain days hold certain events, but be aware that some days will become a drag for this reason. Yet my favorite aspect of Animal Crossing, though, is the ability to have you and, say, three other family members live in the same town. What one player does when it's their turn affects the other players' lives. I found great joy in littering my brother's yard with oranges and to see his surprise when he logged on. Of course, all good things come to an end, and soon you'll grow weary of Animal Crossing's cycle. It never ends, there's no clear finish, and there really is only so much one can do day after day.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This game rocks!
Animal Crossing is so cool. Put three stories to your house and personalize it! My Mom plays it too, and my Dad and my sister. Go fishing and sell your fish, catch bugs and sell them too, or send them to the museum. Make a small town and talk to the people who move, but keep the town clean and plant flowers, or no one will move in. I love this game!
