Average Rating: 4.37 out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A very good game, however has a few bad points
Pokemon 3 (Ruby/Sapphire) is, in my opinion, the best game in the series. However, there is room for improvment.

    =Pros=
-135 new Pokemon to catch and train
-Whole new country (Hoenn) to explore. Hoenn is like a combination of Johto/Kanto from the previous Pokemon games.
-Secret Bases, like the "Your Room" feature in G/S/C. You buy furniture/dolls/etc. from places around Hoenn, and put them in your secret base.
-Pokemon Contests, where you enter your Pokemon in 4 types of contests

-Weather conditions, which are visible outside of battle, and also effect inside of battle.

    =Cons=
-No visible night/day. It's now hard to tell when tide changes, and when certian pokemon evolve based on night/day evolution.
-No Johto/Kanto. It would be nice to go back to catch Pokemon that you can only catch by using a cheating device. Plus, it would be cool to see how Johto/Kanto has changed since G/S/C.
-184 out of 386 (excluding the 2 new Pokemon that you can get by going to a Nintendo tour thing or the Pokemon Center in New York) Pokemon are not obtainable unless you use a cheating device.
-And last, like in every Pokemon game excluding Yellow, the game continues the water-grass-fire starter Pokemon trend ever since the first series.

It would get 5 stars if it had a little bit more older Pokemon, and at least one previous country. But despite it's flaws, Pokemon Sapphire is still a very good game.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Sapphire is my favorite game!!
In the Sapphire version you can collect up to 200 pokemon unless you use a gameshark for Jirachi and Deoxys. You can battle on 2-on-2 battles with your friends. The hardest gym leader I think was Norman(your dad). Norman is just like Whitney. You can enter pokemon contests and try to win ribbons for your pokemon. To bad there are only 8 gym leaders. I wanted 16 gym leaders. The pokemon league isin't that hard as long as you tram\in your pokemon well. The highest level in the pokemon league is LV.58. I beat the pokemon league over 20 times. The pokemon you can start out with is Treeko(grass), Torchic(Fire), and Mudkip(water). I started out with Torchic. Team Aqua can be a little tough if you don't train your pokemon well. I'm not going to say anything else.

    A good team is(my team):

    Flygon
    Gardevoir
    Camerupt
    Salamence
    Metagross
    Kyogre

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome
